Congratulations to An T.P. Tran for her successful Ph.D. thesis viva defense !

On May 29, 2019 An T.P. Tran had her final Ph.D. thesis assessment with the committee members.

An's Ph.D. topic is "Characterization of Biopolymer-treated soils Considering Soil-Water-Hydrogel Interaction" which consists 1) Soil-water characteristic of biopolymer-treated soils (BPTSs), 2) Hydraulic conductivity of BPTSs with stress variations, 3) Adsorption behavior of BPT-sand, 4) Feasibility assessments for practical applications of biopolymer-based hydrogesl in geotechnical engineering.

An had a wonderful presentation and a well responsed discussion session.

All committee members agreed to accept her thesis for her Ph.D. degree.

An will finally receive her Ph.D. degree in August, 2019.
