Hydro-Geotech Research for Bio-Soil levee structures

As a part of one of our ongoing research tasks, E3GEO is working on hydro-geotechnical engineering research using a hydraulic flume equipment located in UNSW Canberra, nowadays.

This study mainly aims to evaluate the erosion behaviors of levee models under severe flood conditions, where overflow, bleaching, and piping become serious concerns to the stability of levee structures.

We are investigating the feasibility of bio-soil material application on levee structures for erosion resistance and entire stability improvement purposes.

Sojeong and Yeong-Man are making sincere dedications, thus, we hope to have promising results and accompanying research outputs.
