The 3rd US-Korea Geotechnical Workshop (August 17, 2021)

The 3rd US-Korea Geotechnical Workshop hosted by the Korean Geotechnical Society (KGS), co-organized by the KGS North America Committee and the KGS Young Geotechnical Engineers (YGE) Forum Committee, was held on August 17 (Korea Time) through online (Zoom).

As the Committee Chair of the KGS YGE Forum Committee, Dr. Chang served as the Co-Chair for this event. Eighteen active and passionate scholars (9 from Korea and 9 from USA) presented their recent research, which were mostly front-edge subjects including sustainability, bio-soil, new foundation structures, underground construction, energy storage and utilization, offshore technology.

The encouraging point was that all SURE3 members joined the workshop for their study~!
